Qualifications & Compliance
The file owners, general contractors, and procurement teams need before they sign a demolition sub — licensing, insurance, safety, equipment, and track record, summarized here and available in full on request from our Jacksonville headquarters.
Demolition is where owners and general contractors slow down and read the file — and they should. The demolition sub works at the stage of a project where mistakes are expensive, visible, and difficult to undo, so a contractor should be easy to check on paper. Level Demolition & Waste Removal has been answering that diligence since 2005: a locally owned contractor headquartered at 3633 Lenox Ave in Jacksonville, FL — licensed, bonded, and insured, with more than 1 million tons of debris processed and 500+ clients served across Northeast Florida. This page summarizes what we put on the table for a bid. The documents behind it — certificates of insurance, license verification, references, and a capability overview — are issued on request, because paperwork you can verify is worth more than claims you can’t. None of it is exotic; it’s simply current, organized, and ready to hand to a procurement desk.
Prequalification
What we put on the table
Six things a procurement desk actually checks on a demolition sub — and where we stand on each one. If your form asks for something not shown here, ask; the answer is usually already in the file.
Licensing
Level Demolition & Waste Removal holds an active Florida demolition contractor license — current, provided directly to clients and GCs on request, and verifiable with the state when needed. Licensing is the first box on every prequalification form, and we would rather you look ours up than take our word for it.
Insurance & Bonding
Liability and workers’ compensation coverage are in place on every project we field, and we are bonded. Certificates of insurance are issued on request with your project named as certificate holder, so your file is complete before our first machine arrives. Coverage specifics belong on the certificate, not a web page — ask and we’ll send it.
Safety Program
Pre-demolition engineering surveys, utility disconnect coordination, site safety assessments, and OSHA-compliant methods and PPE are standard on every job — not a binder that rides in the truck. The full program is documented on our safety program page.
Equipment & Fleet
Hydraulic excavators supported by dump trucks and 10–40 yard roll-off containers — owned, operated, and maintained in-house, and detailed on our equipment & fleet page. Core demolition work is never subcontracted, so mobilization dates are ours to keep.
Track Record
Operating since 2005. More than 1 million tons of debris processed. 500+ clients served across Duval, Clay, St. Johns, and Nassau counties. Owner and GC references are provided on request — and we encourage you to call them.
Environmental & Disposal Compliance
Concrete, metal, and clean wood are recycled where possible. Contaminated soil goes to licensed facilities; uncontaminated topsoil is reused. Disposal records protect an owner long after closeout, so we treat compliant disposal as part of the deliverable.

How We’re Built
One accountable contractor
Level self-performs its core demolition work — it is never subcontracted out. The estimator who walks your site, the operators who run the excavators, and the trucks that haul the debris all answer to the same company. For a general contractor, that means one set of qualifications to vet, one certificate to file, and no gap in responsibility between the contractor who priced the work and the crew performing it. When the schedule moves or the scope changes, the person who answers the phone can act on it.
Our operators bring extensive on-the-job experience and general heavy-equipment training, on machines we own and maintain ourselves. It’s a shorter org chart than most — and that’s the point.

Qualifications FAQ
Common questions
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Level Demolition & Waste Removal is licensed, bonded, and insured. Our Florida contractor license is provided directly to clients and GCs upon request, and liability and workers’ compensation coverage are in place on every project we take on — no exceptions for small jobs. Coverage details are provided on the certificate of insurance we issue for your project.
How do I get a certificate of insurance?
Email info@leveldemolitionfl.com or call 904-77-LEVEL with the project name, address, and certificate-holder details, and we’ll issue a COI naming your project as required. It’s a routine request for us, and we treat it that way.
Do you carry workers’ compensation?
Yes. Workers’ compensation coverage is in place on every project, alongside our liability coverage — because the crews on site are ours, not borrowed labor. Both coverages are reflected on the certificate of insurance we issue for your job.
Do you subcontract your demolition work?
No. Core demolition work is self-performed by our own crews on our own equipment. That keeps safety, quality, and accountability under one roof — and it means the qualifications on this page describe the people who will actually be on your site.
What areas do you serve?
Northeast Florida — Duval, Clay, St. Johns, and Nassau counties — from our headquarters at 3633 Lenox Ave in Jacksonville, FL. If your project sits at the edge of that footprint, call and we’ll give you a straight answer on coverage.
How do I verify your license?
Our Florida contractor license is provided directly to property owners and general contractors on request. You can verify it through the state’s contractor license lookup, and we encourage every owner and general contractor to do exactly that before awarding work to anyone — including us.
