Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about demolition, excavation, roll-off dumpsters, and debris removal from the Northeast Florida crew that’s been doing the work since 2005.
Below are answers to the questions we hear most often at Level Demolition. Don’t see what you’re looking for? Call 904-77-LEVEL or contact us and we’ll get you a straight answer.
Do you do same-day site visits?
Most demolition and removal work is scheduled several days to a few weeks out so we can plan crews, equipment, and disposal properly. When a job can’t wait, we go to great lengths to fit you in at a time that works for you — call 904-77-LEVEL for the soonest available slot.
Is my project too big or too small for your crew?
No job is too big or too small for Level. We’ve handled everything from a single-room interior tear-out to full commercial teardowns and site clearing across Northeast Florida, and we’ll walk through your options during a free, no-obligation consultation.
Do you handle both residential and commercial demolition?
Yes. Our crews handle residential work — houses, garages, pools, sheds, and interior demo — as well as commercial projects like retail build-outs, warehouses, and structural teardowns. We scale the equipment and crew to match the scope of your job.
Do you also rent roll-off dumpsters and haul away debris?
We do — waste removal is right there in our name. Along with demolition we offer 10–40 yard roll-off dumpster rentals and full debris hauling, so the teardown and the cleanup come from one local crew.
What equipment does your crew use?
Our workhorse is the excavator, backed by a full fleet of support equipment — dump trucks, roll-off dumpsters, skid steers, and hand tools — plus the experience to use them safely. Whatever the job takes to get done right, we bring it.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes — every project starts with a free, no-obligation estimate. Tell us about the structure or site and we’ll assess the scope, answer your questions, and put an honest number in writing. No pressure and no surprise invoices.
How do you price a project, and how do I get a quote?
We price in line with industry standards so you’re never blindsided by the final invoice. Some jobs are quoted as a lump sum; others are charged by the cubic yard. The more detail you can share up front, the more accurate your estimate — call 904-77-LEVEL or request a quote online to get started.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Level Demolition is licensed, bonded, and insured, and our operators have completed extensive heavy-equipment training on top of years of hands-on experience — part of how we’ve earned our customers’ trust since 2005.
Should I tell my neighbors before demolition begins?
For residential projects we recommend giving your neighbors a heads-up so you can talk through any individual or shared concerns — access, noise, or property lines — before work starts. A quick conversation up front keeps everyone comfortable while the job is underway.
Will there be damage to my property?
We take careful precautions to disturb only what we intend to. Years of demolition and excavation experience across Jacksonville let us minimize liabilities and protect the areas around the work — giving you peace of mind from start to finish.
How do you avoid underground utilities when excavating?
We do thorough research before excavating anywhere near underground utilities like wiring and pipes. In most cases those lines are the responsibility of the utility companies, so we contact them to mark the exact locations for our crew and the property owner before a single bucket goes in the ground.
Where does the dirt and debris go?
Upon request, we handle proper disposal of all unwanted debris, soil, and excavated material. Contaminated dirt goes to specialized facilities, while clean topsoil is often reused for cover at approved sites. We recycle and divert what we can rather than defaulting to the landfill.
What areas do you serve?
We’re based at 3633 Lenox Ave in Jacksonville and serve all of Northeast Florida — including Jacksonville, the Beaches, Orange Park, Fleming Island, Ponte Vedra, St. Augustine, and Fernandina Beach across Duval, Clay, St. Johns, and Nassau counties. If your project is in or around the region, reach out and we’ll come to you.
